Planned Parenthood Gave A College Student One Option: Abortion

Erin, from South Dakota told her shocking story about her experience with Planned Parenthood. The student had been told by doctors that she couldn't have children, however, she still was worried that she was pregnant. When she visited Planned Parenthood for a free pregnancy test she was delighted to be told that she was actually pregnant.

 

Upon discovering the result she was then shocked to find that the only option offered to her was Abortion. She was given three leaflets about Abortion, and when she told the worker that she was not interested in aborting her baby, she was given no more advice than that she could return if she changed her mind about keeping the baby. There were no congratulations, nor the offer of any prenatal or other medical help.

 

Unfortunately it appears that this could be a trend with Planned Prenthood due to quotas set on Abortion numbers in order to receive certain funding. We believe that these organisations should be neutral when advising a pregnant woman. If she wants to keep the baby she should receive just as much help as if she decides to have an Abortion. Either decision can be the correct one for each woman.The organisation even gave an award to one of its facilities for exceeding its abortion quota.

 

The range of the pressure to perform Abortions stretches to their affiliates who in some cases are forced to provide the service in order to continue working with the organisation, where they previously didn't provide it. Planned Parenthood has become America's largest Abortion provider, but has it been at the cost of women's health?
