Pro-choice Nicki Minaj speaks publicly about her abortion as a teenager.
The latest thing that she revealed happened during an interview with Rolling Stone magazine where she openly spoke about an Abortion that she had when she was a teenager.
In it, she spoke about her "first love"; a relationship with an older man, a man who got her pregnant whilst still in high school.

"I thought I was going to die. I was a teenager. It was the hardest thing I'd ever gone through."
In the end, she had an Abortion but says that it is a decision that has haunted her all her life, however not something which she regrets as she says she thought it was the right choice for her at the time.

"It'd be contradictory if I said I wasn't pro-choice. I wasn't ready. I didn't have anything to offer a child."

Her song "Autobiography" on her Sucka Free mixtape, talks about the Abortion, as does the song "All Things Go" on her new album The pinkprint. Such lines include:

"Millions of people are gonna hear it. And you gotta watch everything you say — people find an issue with every fucking thing."

She also explained in the story her reasons for sharing so much of her personal life publicly.
"I struggled with 'Do I express these feelings?' And I decided there's no reason for me to hide," she says. "I'm a vulnerable woman, and I'm proud of that."

We think its good that a strong female celebrity can share this with the world. Girls, remember, none of you are alone, you have options.
